Even though I’ve been using Velvet Teddy all summer, I think that it’s an amazing color for the summer-autumn transition, and can be rocked even during cold winter months. I like using it with NYX lipliner in “Natural” or with “Whirl” lipliner by MAC. I’ve been using Velvet Teddy for a while now and it has quickly become a favorite of mine. Despite of such a flat finish, it isn’t drying at all, which is another big plus. Rest assured that it doesn’t get any “matte-er” than Velvet Teddy. Once again, because of my lighting, the finish looks a bit more sheen than it actually is. The finish is entirely matte and with its amazing formula it lasts a very long time. I think that this shade is also very much Kylie Jenner-like. Velvet Teddy is a beautiful, neutral, brown toned nude with a bit of a 90’s feel.
A lot of them would wash me out, look way too peachy-pink on me or simply looked “too nude” (read: they made me look like a zombie). I had the most difficult time finding a nude lipstick that would be suitable for my skin tone. I’m still so very much in love with matte lipsticks and one that I have been obsessed with for months now is MAC’s Velvet Teddy.
